Riding a wave: surfing at Robertsport in Liberia – in pictures
Surfing in the fishing town of Robertsport in Liberia has taken off in the last few years, attracting Liberian youths and a few tourists. The Robertsport surf club, with the aid of an NGO, Provide the Slide, has managed to equip young people with surfboards and in some cases help send children to school. Senior surfers provide courses for young people, teaching them about the ocean, how to swim and how to surf
